About Devermont & Devermont
A DUI is like no other criminal charge. The law, science and proceedures are designed to get convictions. It takes special knowledge and experience to properly understand the machines, tests, effects of alcohol, physiology and chemistry which dictates the outcome. Expert knowledge beyond that of your average criminal lawyer is necessary to overcome the almost insurmountable odds. When first charged DUI it is easy to become intimidated and afraid because it feels impossible to win and the penalities are so severe. We are not intimidated nor afraid and will make sure you receive the best representation possible.
The law firm of Devermont & Devermont, a professional corporation, was co-founded by Dennis H. Devermont and his father Henry Devermont (1917-1991) over 35 years ago. Together they formed a law firm rich in family history and dedicated to the pursuit of justice. The firm has donated thousands of hours to charitable legal services. Over this time the firm and its lawyers have achieved a series of accomplishments spanning various courts and areas of law.
The firm first defended DUI's in 1971 and received criminal court appointments from the presiding judge on a regular basis. We have handled various types of cases for over 20,000 individuals with substance abuse problems.
